O Tanenbaum

I feel a tap on my shoulder. Mommy scoot over. My voice barely audible,"what?"
HHboy whispers, softly, so HHhubby doesn't hear and send him directly back to bed. "I want to get in bed with you."
I respond with my eyes half open and lift up the rumpled covers so he can climb in bed. I try and clear my mind and assume it must be 6 in the morning. My neck is throbbing in pain. I slept on my pillow wrong. I look over at the brightly lit clock
and see that it' s 4:30 AM. Once again in a loud whisper I hear "Mom" I half heartly respond with a head nod. Energetically HHboy asks "can we get our CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!"

At 4:30 in the sleepy morning my lovely son wanted to know when we can get our Christmas tree. You have got to be fucking kidding me. It's not even Thanksgiving AND he is only 3. How can he already be pre disposed to the commercialism of the Christmas Holiday!

Blows my mind. Anyway looks like we'll be purchasing our tree this weekend. What's that you say? Oh no, we the parents are definitely running the show over here.

***********
Last night I took a second jewelry class and I do believe I am the BOMB. Now. I finally know what in the piss I am doing. Head has been mounted back on my neck more upright then before. After my smashing jewelry sales at the boutique a few weekends ago. There is no way to go but to the sky!

I can't believe how quickly Thanksgiving is approaching. I am excited though because this means HHhubby will have some time off. Maybe we can do something fun, like

a) go get a Christmas tree

Next weekend is HHhubby's holiday party! I'm not totally excited about the party mostly because the company he works for has grown so much , that you barely know anyone. Which was not the case a few years ago. The best part is picking a restaurant in San Francisco and meeting with his close friends/co-workers and going to dinner and have some drinks. This year there will be a bigger group. Then we are staying at a hotel in the city!

I plan to do it up right. All Diva-ish. I have an appointment for a complete transformation. Actually I just have an appointment to have my make up done. How fun. I am going to go to MAC and see if they can transform me into a transvestite. Then I have a hair appointment a few days earlier!

Which just reminded me we are taking family pictures next week! Ugh! I'm not photogenic. Mostly we want photos of the HHkids. A family shot would be nice to. I think we should take them with those wood cutouts and different body types.

Have a fun weekend! I plan to try and write more soon!

I'm putting my tree up this weekend while I have company. I love to put it up early, it makes all the work seem worth it.

Well I have to say I would rather of had your 4:30am wake up call, my 5am wake up call this morning was, "Mommy, my chonies are all wet..." Daddy forgot to put the little one in her "nightime chonies aka Pullups" so at 5am we were changing bedding, pj's, and all climbing in bed with mom...Uhhhhh....little ones
