Mothers and their children walk past posters of a pregnant and nude Britney Spears in a subway station in Tokyo August 28, 2006. Tokyo's subway authorities allowed publisher Harper's Bazaar to display posters of the nude American pop singer on Monday, overturning a decision to cover part of the image for being "too stimulating" for young people.
What do you think? Is this photo stimulating? I see the photo as a woman who is bearing a child and expressing and embracing the changes in her body. Is this opinion concurrent with our western culture?
I'm not a big BS fan either; in fact, I've blogged about her a time or two in a semi-unflattering way--but I have no problem with this photo or its larger-than-life depiction in Tokyo. I think it's a tasteful (though re-re-retouched) celebration of the utmost in femininity.

Being that I watched the interview with pregnant Britney Spears about a month ago....
I see, a well taken, extremely photoshopped picture of a woman. I guess it's spose to be Britney, tough it doesn't look anything like her.
But seriously, she's not showing any more than a girl at the beach. Less actually.
I agree. Also some major photoshopping. I have never been a huge fan of BS but I hope she can make a comeback

I don't know how anyone could find it stimulating. Pregnant women are beautiful examples that miracles do happen.
